Bride-to-be says she was 'fat shamed' by wedding photographer

In order to celebrate their upcoming tying of the knot, the couple decided to do an engagement photo shoot. Katie told News 5 Cleveland that she got in touch with a local wedding photographer on Facebook, Linda Silvestri. On the day of the shoot, everything appeared to go very well. "We laughed, we talked, we joked, we told stories," she said. When Katie received her photos though, she noticed that some of them been considerably altered and photoshopped to make herself and her fiancée appear slimmer. “She actually photoshopped one picture of us skinnier. “She probably took like 30 pounds off each of us.” After Katie complained to Silvestri, she said that a Facebook post appeared on the company's page actively criticising the couple's weight. The post, which has since been deleted, allegedly said: “Last week I did an engagement session for a morbidly obese couple. “First pic she was upset I gave her a chin tuck. She left me a two-star review because I wouldn’t refund their $150 for a two-hour session.
